Welcome to Aslan Shih Tzu! We are a full service breeder and stud referral service of quality AKC registered Shih Tzu breed dogs located in Mesa, AZ.

The Shih Tzu originated in China and translated, the name means "lion dog". Shih Tzu (same for singular or plural, like deer) are very hardy, loyal, friendly dogs which make great in-door pets, due to their quiet nature (even as puppies). They have a very beautiful double coat which, with careful attention can be grown out, but most owners choose to keep the coat cut short - especially here in Arizona. We do not ship our puppies due to their sensitivity to high tempatures, besides, we prefer to meet our adoptive families in person!
